Having come back to the United States for two weeks, I still have serous jet lag.
The time I am used to is with Taiwanese clock, 13 hours difference from Eastern time of America.
So, I sleep from afternoon to night and get up around midnight.
It's not a big deal before my class begins, but it might be harmful for the body
because the periods I sleep break into several pieces.
Drinking coffee? It doesn't work.
I also drink pepsi and mountain dew, but just can't sleep in the regular time.
Finally, the clock of my body functions normally today.
But I get up pretty early, which is not a common habit for me.
Usually, no matter in Taiwan or America, I go to bed around 12 or 1 at midnight,
sometimes even later, and get up around 10 in the morning.
I know it's not a healthy habit because many researchers have reported that
sleeping after 11 p.m. makes our bodies rest for less time,
but working at night seems to be normal for programmers,
which means that I feel more energetic in the night than in the morning.
Anyway, the picture represents I am awake 7 o'clock in the morning,
which is incredible for me I think.
Yes, I like getting up in the early morning because it's quiet, the air is clean,
and it seems to have more time a day for me.
Really, I hope I can enjoy the moment in the morning more often.
