Sinusitis

Sinusitis is a nose disease which causes a severe congestion and produces mucus.
I actually suffer from it for more than two months, the reason? It's a long story.

When I was in New York this spring (2007), I had a wisdom tooth on the top right side of my mouth.
This tooth did not come out but cause me a lot of pain, so I went to dental school to see a dentist,
but because I did not have any medical records in the U.S.,
they were not willing to give me any treatment.

They arranged oral surgery for me, but the dentist form school said that
the position of the tooth is so high that he could not remove it, and then re-arranged me
to another specialist out of school. The schedule was in the beginning of June.

Well, I thought if I got to wait for a long time and pay nearly 900 us dollars,
I would rather go back to Taiwan.
So, I did remove my tooth in August and it cost me 60 us dollars in Taiwan.
But the problem is that the tooth was too close to sinus, the germ goes up to sinus from the hole
and causes sinusitis.
[Sinus: any of the spaces inside the head that are connected to the back of the nose]

It's not painful, but an annoying problem because I need to bring many tissues,
and the mucus has a very bad smell.
When I go to school, I have a runny nose and I sometimes just can not focus on what I am doing.

I have taken different medicine for two months, but the symptoms remains.
So, I will go back to Taiwan in winter break to see an ear and nose doctor for treatment, again.
